    LPU provides admission in 15 different types of B.Tech programs. The course and modules are designed as per the industry needs and specifications. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place.     Taking admission in Lovely Professional University in B.Tech.     All you have to do is just register on the university's website and appear in the entrance test which is LPU NEST and must have 60% in 10+2 with English Physics and Math. Rest the whole process is online now starting from your registration to your admission and document submission you'll be guided along the way with each and every step. And the university provides B.Tech in more than 15 programs. LPU is also among top 50 in the NIRF ranking in engineering discipline.

    LPU is good in terms of infrastructure, faculty members, placements, assessment model. Plenty of opportunities are available for Engineering students. For B.Tech, the eligibility criteria is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics Maths English as compulsory subjects, also have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam which is conducted by the university itself.

    As per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. So, qualifying the Eligibility criteria and by participating in the online counselling schedule as mentioned on the website based on merit seat will be allocated to you and you can proceed for Admissions in any programme in LPU.     For B.Tech, the eligibility criteria is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics Maths English as compulsory subjects plus you need to qualify LPU NEST exam ( test conducted by LPU). .

    The process for admission in B.Tech LPU once the eligibility has been verified:
    Step 1 - Signup
    Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
    You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
    Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.
    STEP 2 - Apply LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)

    For taking admission in any course of B.Tech in LPU, one may possess the following eligibility criterion:
    * Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. * For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. In order to avail admission in LPU B.Tech programme one has to qualify the LPU NEST entrance exam conducted by LPU.
