To get admission in to University of Delhi (DU), you have to appear in Common University Entrance Test (CUET).Forms for CUET comes in the month of February/March.Exam is conducted in the month of May/June.
For University of Delhi, it has its unique criteria in terms of number of papers to appear.One can sit in the entrance in only those subjects which he/she has studied in class 12th.The syllabus for those papers is same NCERT book of particular subject which is taught in class 12th.
So, to get admission in BA subjects such as Political Science, Economics & History, one nust appear in atleast four core subjects which he/she studied in class 12th.One among the four should be one language.Merit will be based on four core subject.In case,one appeared in more than four, four core subjects will be taken in to consideration for Merit List.
Note- For Bachelor of Arts in Economics, one has to appear in Mathematics as one paper.By default, he should have studied Mathematics in class 12th.

Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

Before the result of CUET, you'll have to register yourself on Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal which will be available on official website of University of Delhi.
Basically there are three phases to apply on Common Seat Allocation System(CSAS) portal for admission in Bachelor of Arts (BA) courses in undergraduate (UG) in any college of University of Delhi (DU).In 1st phase, the students are required to register themselves in order to show their interest for admission to University of Delhi.In this phase, aspiring student has to fill personal details, academic details, documents upload etc.In 2nd phase of the CSAS process for University of Delhi, the candidates are required to fill in their preferences for various courses as well as the colleges affiliated with University of Delhi.The order of preference here plays a humongous role. Each college has its own unique culture, strengths, and opportunities.Remember, the choices you make now will influence your entire university experience and potentially your career trajectory.
In third phase, based on the scores obtained by candidates in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG), a merit list will be compiled and released.Following the release of the merit list, multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. This ensures that every deserving candidate gets an opportunity to secure a place in their preferred course and college.
Note-The most crucial part of 3rd phase is the “Freeze” and “Upgrade” options. In case, the college seats allocated to the student are as per his desire, the seat can be confirmed by paying the fees on the other hand, if the student is not satisfied and wishes to opt for or wait for the next round of allotment, he can go for the upgrade option and exit the current round of seat allocation.
