What is the admission process for Diploma in civil engineering?

The programme is designed to develop students' skills through hands-on learning, allowing them to progress from fundamental to advanced skills such as planning, designing, and maintaining structures of varying sizes. Upon completion of the diploma, graduates have the option to start their own business or pursue further education.

Eligibility criteria of Diploma civil engineering is pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th  (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent. 

Admission process of diploma:

Students can apply for admission from official website of LPU

Step 1 Signup

Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password)

Step 2  Admission

Step 3 Apply LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)

Step 4 Book the Exam Slot and Appear

Book the slot to appear in the LPUNEST Exam: For Test Centre Based Exam, Book preferred venue, date and time. For Remotely Proctored Online Exam, Book preferred date and time.  Appear and qualify the exam.

LPU receives the highest NAAC grade i.e. A+ with 3.68 crore on 4 point scale as per the Ministry of Education, Government of India. 

Dear candidate, the university offers a Diploma (Engg.) Civil Engineering (CE) programme which has a duration of 3 years. Designed as a skill enable program, the students learn by doing and progress from basics to higher-order skills like planning, designing and maintaining small and large structures. Diploma graduates can start entrepreneurial ventures or pursue higher studies. 

The eligibility criteria are - 

Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th  (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject. 

In addition, An elective course chosen from an unrelated discipline/subject, to seek exposure beyond discipline/s of choice is called a Generic Elective. Generic electives will introduce integration among various interdisciplinary courses. The courses are -
