The admission procedure for CDAC's M.Tech programs consists of many critical components. Prospective candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. Admission is determined by performance in either the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or the IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test). The M.Tech programs last two to three years and include 13 different courses. Tuition prices range from INR 78,000–INR 2.4 lakhs. The centre has 273 seats available throughout its numerous M.Tech degrees.
