The admission process for the BTech programme at UIET Chandigarh is as follows:
Eligibility: Candidates should have completed 10+2 in Science stream from a recognised institute or board.
Entrance Exam: UIET BTech admission is based on the candidate's rank in JEE Main.
Application: Candidates need to fill out an application form, which can be found on the official website of UIET Chandigarh.
Counseling: There will be three rounds of online counseling followed by one last SPOT round of counseling.
Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on the candidate's rank and availability of seats. -
UIET Chandigarh admission to BTech is based on JEE Main score. The inter-se merit of the candidates for BE admission will be determined on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) obtained in JEE Main 2024 only, except in the Sports Category and the Defence Category. After completion of the selection rounds, BE candidates have to participate in JAC Counselling and provide their preferred institute. Once the seat is allotted, candidates need to pay course fee to confirm their seat.
