Generally, when you appear for the entrance exam you'll get these topics. Not just for Mass communication course any other also.
1. Quantitative Aptitude
2. Logical Reasoning
3. English Language Comprehension
Some colleges like NIMCJ also add questions related to Current Affairs journalism-related
