What is the admission process to join Symbiosis Institute of Design for B.Des in Fashion Design? Is there any entrance?

Hello The admission process is as below. Eligibility Essential:A candidate must have passed 10+2 (any stream; eg. Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) or equivalent OR 10+3 diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% aggregate marks obtained in the final examination to be eligible for the above-mentioned program. A candidate appearing for the final examination of 10+2 grade or 10+3 Diploma program may also apply provided the results of the examination should have been declared by June of the admission year or prior to be eligible for the above mentioned program. Admission Procedure for the First Year For Indian Students All Indian students are required to take the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED 2018), which will be held on May 5, 2018 (Saturday). No candidate is entitled to seek admission to SID without a valid SEED score. Des program of SID will be according to the following process. Level 1 Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) 2018. The result of SEED will be put up on the SET website as per the schedule. If a candidate qualifies SEED 2018, he/she would be eligible to appear for SIDs Studio Test and Personal Interaction. Shortlisting for admission will be based only by Preference 1 selected during online registration. Level 2 Studio Test and Personal Interaction will be conducted only at SID, Pune campus from 28th May to 1st June 2018. Final selection would be based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Studio Test and Personal Interaction as well as on the basis of the information provided by the candidate in the application form and his/her first preference of the disciplines offered."

Symbiosis International University conducts Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) in order to offer admissions to aspirants in BDes programmes offered at Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). Earlier known as SET for Design, SEED conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for design course admissions evaluates candidates on spheres such as colour, geometry, visual observations, general design awareness, creative thinking abilities, awareness on Indian culture, craft, traditions and the likes. SEED conducted by SIU comprises of objective type questions.
