Indian Air Force recruits Indian Citizens as an officer or as an airman. Airmen are recruited after successful completion of the class 12th examination. The only exception is when musicians are to be recruited. So the age has been fixed as when an Indian can pass his 12th + two more years. Officers are recruited either after 12th or after graduation. In both these cases, the entrance examination is conducted by UPSC. One is for entry into NDA while the other is called as CDS. 1. NDA Exam-
Aspirants who have just passed the 12th class, or are appearing in 12th class and have their ages in the range of 16 -19 years can apply for NDA examination.
