IB ACIO Age limit: 18 years to 27 years. Age Limit Relaxations for IB ACIO:
1- Unreserved: No age relaxation
2- Other Backward Classes (OBC): Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years
3- Scheduled Castes: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years
4- Scheduled Tribes: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years
5- Departmental Candidates: Upper age limit is relaxable up to 40 years of age who have rendered 3 years of regular and continuous service.
6- Widows divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands and not remarried: General applicants are Relaxable for up to 35 years and SC, or ST is Relaxable for up to 40 years.

The IB ACIO aspirants must be of 18 years of age at least. The maximum age limit is 27 years. For the respective categories, the upper age are relatable to certain relations. SC/ST - Relaxable by 5 years
OBC - Relaxable by 3 years
Departmental Candidates (at least 3 years of service) - Upper age limit will be 40 years
Widows/Divorced/Judicially Separated Women not remarried (General) - Upper age limit will be 35 years
Widows/Divorced/Judicially Separated Women not remarried (SC/ST/OBC) - Upper age limit will be 40 years.

IB ACIO 2025 application form was released on July 19, 2025. The application form was released online and candidates need to fill the same within the prescribed deadline. Only online applications are accepted for the exam. Candidates need to pay the processing fee of INR 450. Male candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories need to pay INR 100 in addition to Recruitment Processing Charges for IB ACIO exam.
IB ACIO scorecard is released along with the result. The scorecard is released online and candidates can download it by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent by post.
