The amount of tuition fee that RMIT University deducts in the event of a refusal when applying for undergraduate courses depends on the application status:

    • Application submitted: Deposit minus $5,000
    • After programme commencement up to census date: Refund amount (AUD)
    • After census date: No refund

      Other refund amounts include:

      • Late enrolment fee: $220
      • Foundation Studies withdrawal charges: 50% of the first semester tuition fees
      • Visa extension refusal: $500 administration fee

In the event of a refusal while applying for UG courses the RMIT University provides refunds of tuition fees in accordance with its refund policy.

RMIT will provide a full refund to that student, less any administrative fees.
