Application of Law starts with the provisions given in The Constitution of India. You can go through it to get a clarity on what are the various organs of the Government- Legislative,Executive , and Judiciary. They are Law-making body, Administrative body, and Law interpreting body, respectively.

Maintenance of Law and Order situation in a country, let others not pose any threats to the existence of humanity, ensuring conformance to standards and norms etc.
