What is the application process at Bergen Community College?

- The first step is to apply on the college official website.
- Bergen Community College requires a placement test to find out your academic level. However, it is not necessary if SAT/ACT scores meet their exemption criteria.
- Submit high school transcripts, or a GED certificate, and any college transcripts if applicable.
- If you require financial aid fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Once the application is processed, students will receive the acceptance letter.
- After completing the previous steps, you can register for classes. You'll register through their student portal system.

To apply to Bergen Community College (BCC), you can:
Create an account or log into your existing account
Complete the application form
Provide any required documentation
Pay a non-refundable tuition deposit
Some things you may need to provide include: High school Diploma or GED/HSE equivalency, Mantoux (TB) results, Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) test results, College transcripts, and Criminal background check.
BCC has an open door policy for degree and non-degree seeking students. General admissions are on a rolling basis.
BCC has locations in Paramus, Hackensack, and Lyndhurst.
