What is the application process for counseling through JEE main at Anna University?

Hi. TNEA 2021 Counselling TNEA 2021 Counselling will be held from September 7 to October 20. The students would be called for counselling rounds on the basis of their ranks, reservation and choices filled in the merit list and allotted colleges as such. A counselling call letter would be released by the authorities after the submission of the counselling fee. During counselling candidates would be allotted seats in TNEA participating colleges in Tamil Nadu. Once a college is allotted, the candidate must report to the college on the specified date and time in the allotment letter. Major steps involved in TNEA 2021 Counselling are: TNEA 2021 Counselling Registration and Uploading of Required Documents TNEA 2021 Random Number Generation. Random Number refers to a unique 10 digit number assigned to each applicant by TNEA based on a computerized process to break a tie between candidates with the same score. Online Document/ Certificate Verification at Designated TNEA Facilitation Center Rank Publication Online TNEA 2021 Counselling for Special Reservation and Vocational Categories Commencement of General TNEA 2021 Counselling Payment of Initial Deposit Choice Filling Publication of tentative TNEA 2021 Seat Allotment Choice Locking by candidates Publication of Final TNEA Seat Allotment Reporting at allotted institute Online TNEA 2021 Supplementary Counselling Online SCA to SC Counselling Documents Required for TNEA 2021 Counselling Candidates have to present their original documents for verification at the time of counselling. Documents required during the counselling process are as follows: Original Class 10th and class 12th Certificate and mark sheet Proof of identity - Aadhaar Card or other Category Certificate (if applicable) Domicile Certificate and in case the candidate is exempted from being domiciled of Tamil Nadu relevant proof of employment and declarations of the parents. <p>Hi, Admissions to engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu are based on marks obtained in 12th examination and not on ranking in JEE Mains. Of course IIT /NIT &amp; GFTI located in Tamil Nadu give admissions based on JEE Mains ranking, but the counselling for these seats are not done by Anna University. These seats are clubbed with seats of other IIT / NIT etc. for counseling. Best wishes.</p>
