What is the approximate CAT percentile for general category candidates to get a call? Do you have a strict GD/PI process?

    For general categories to get a call is 70 percentile and the GD/PI process will be moderate.

    Last year, it was 75 percentile and this year it will be around 70 percentile.

    For academic year 2016-18,cut off for genral category was 75%.
    The cutoff for upcoming years may change in accordance with applications received and other criteria.
    Once your application is shortlisted,you will be called for GD/PI process.You need to have a thorough concepts of your graduation subjects,projects worked on(in case you are employed),and current affairs.A good preparation accordingly will help you grab a seat in DSM.

    Hello sayontika! One must have a decent CAT score for getting into this college as DSM is a brand in itself. As the cutoff list may vary according to number of students apply and yes screening is done as the college prefers the best. But if you are good and have clarity in your thoughts then definitely you stand a chance. I hope this is helpful to you! Good luck!
