LPU is very strict in case of attendance and you are eligible to sit in exam only when the criteria of 75% attendance gets fulfilled. LPU gives ample chances and opportunities to enjoy the college life along with studies but not at the cost of their studies. Moreover, You can also earn some bonus marks on the bases that how good is your attendance percentage, there are different slabs for that. In case you have good percentage I. e. , 90%+ attendance in a particular subject, then you will get 5 marks extra in that subject and other slabs comprises 85-90% for 4 marks and 80-85% for 3 marks an so on. Believe me! These marks can save you

The university is very strict when it comes to attendance. A student has to have at least 75 percent attendance. Those students who have more than that get weightage in the form of marks as well. It's beneficial to attend classes regularly.

When it comes to attendance, the university is highly stringent. A student must have a minimum of 75% attendance. Students with more than that receive additional credit in the form of grades. Attending classes on a regular basis is beneficial. Hope this information helpful!

Hi there. The faculty members of LPU are actually using the UMS (University Management System), which helps them in marking the attendance for the students. The UMS can be logged in either on the laptop or using the LPU Touch App. Teachers attend their respective classes on time as per time-table. They login their account in the laptop and select the Student Attendance option to marks attendance. In that, they are able to SEE which section is attending at that particular timing. When they select that class, all the student data comes in front of them such as the students registration number, name and roll number, etc. I hope this helps

Hello Nikki. Being alumni of LPU I can answer this question. Yes LPU is so strict about its rules and regulations. Attendance at LPU is the most important component here. In LPU every student should maintain at least 75% Attendance. Otherwise, the student can not sit in the examination hall. Also If a student has 90%+ attendance then in that case student gets 5 marks for maintaining good attendance but most of the student are not able to maintain attendance that is why LPU give a reward of marks. That's it from my side. For more information, students can call on their toll-free admission helpline 18001024431.

To increase the effectiveness in academics, LPU follows a strict criteria for attendance and the students need to maintain 75% attendance to sit in the exams. Moreover, if students maintain attendance above 90 then they get 5 marks add up in their end term performance result, similarly if they can maintain attendance above 8590 then they get 4 marks, if they can maintain between 8085 then they get 3 marks. LPU strictly follow attendance norms so you need to be punctual and follow guidelines in order to avoid study and attendance loss.

Hi, LPU has a rigorous attendance policy, and students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in order to sit for exams. Furthermore, if students maintain attendance above 90 percent, they will receive 5 points in their end-of-term performance, if they can maintain attendance between 86 and 90 percent, they will receive 4 points, and if they can maintain attendance between 80 and 85 percent, they will receive 3 points and so on. LPU adheres to stringent attendance criteria, therefore you must be on time and obey the rules to risk losing your place in class. Thanks.
