There is no average age. You can join at 28 that is not a problem.

There is age restrictions, you can join as and when you clear all exams for entrance purpose. You can contact the officials there for better support, but yes if there is more gap of years, the chances to get admission too reduces. All the best.

Don't worry about age. We have people who are 30 studying at IIFT. Age is not a criterion.
