In B.Tech, you should score good marks. You should have caliber, practical skills and personality.

Yes, if you have above 80 percent, it will be beneficial but if you are not you don't need to worry as it doesn't matter. You only have to concentrate on your B.Tech and gain good marks, this will make everything very smooth.
