  • Stipends offered to GIBS students for internships typically range between INR 10,000-25,000 in any month, based on the company, the role and the industry. Certain companies will pay higher stipends for specialised profiles. A few companies will pay lesser amounts, but offer learning exposure as a key focus. One advantage of GIBS' strong relationship with companies is that most GIBS students get paid internships, as opposed to unpaid internships. The experience gained through the internship programme helps students prepare for their future roles, provides financial support and builds confidence. The average stipend paid to GIBS students

At GIBS, the average internship stipend is usually around ₹15,000 per month. Some companies give a bit more, some give slightly less, and a few top roles can even offer higher amounts.

But generally, most students get something around the 15k range, which is pretty decent for a management internship. The placement team brings good companies, so we usually have enough options to choose from.

One of the best practices that GIBS provides to its students for achieving success in obtaining jobs at the highest levels is the strong encouragement given to gain hands-on experience by using live project work and case studies. The faculty encourage students to look outside of their textbooks and apply the information learned in class to practical business situations; this approach allows students to gain self-assurance, enhance their analytical abilities and develop a greater understanding of what is involved in critical thinking. If you're confused between the old and new GIBS campus, small practical things can make the decision easier. The new campus has more modern classrooms, which feel more comfortable for daily learning. The Wi-Fi is better, so it helps during online work, research, and presentations. The event and seminar spaces are also bigger and better managed, which makes sessions, guest talks, and activities more enjoyable.

Overall, the new campus just feels more convenient and smooth for students, while the core learning and GIBS culture remain the same.

At the new GIBS campus, there are plenty of chill and hangout spots where students can relax between classes or after a long day. There are open lawns and green spaces where you can sit with friends, talk, or just enjoy some fresh air . There are also common seating areas and benches around the campus that make it easy to meet up and hang out.

Inside, there are informal spaces like lounges or cafeteria corners where you can grab a coffee or snack and just relax. Some spots even feel like little break zones where students naturally gather to chat, study in groups, or scroll on their phones.
