    Placements:
NIT Trichy achieved 100 percent placements in 2016. The highest salary package is around INR 40 LPA to INR 50 LPA, and the lowest is around INR 5 LPA to INR 6 LPA. Top recruits are from P&G, Gulf, Reliance Industries, Microsoft, Texas, Tata, etc. Around 65-70 Percent of candidates were able to get interns from on and off campus, and the remaining are undergoing research side under professors of the Indian Institutes of Technology and National Institutes of Technology.
