It's a top brand NIT, but this branch is not that good. Although I don't want to mislead you. The package might be 5 to 6 Lacs. With the highest 11.53 Lacs is still good. If you are looking for placements, ICE is not the option you should be looking at. Most ICE department students get placed in software companies with the same package that a tier-2 college CS student would get. The main problem with ICE is that you won't learn anything in deep.
