What is the average package offered for CSE?

Dear Pranav, B.Tech CSE being the flagship program at LPU, attracts about 300 companies to the campus, out of these more than 60 offer 10LPA, more than 20 offer above 20 LPA and about 100 offer above 8 LPA. The total placements are about 90% of eligible students. The average package is about 5.4 LPA. How does LPU pull it off? Well, let me write down all the factors which finally boil down to placements: Course curriculum, It needs to be dynamic and industry consulted then only the professionals will be developed which industry really needs. Program delivery: Classroom teaching doesnt work anymore, it has o be experiential learning technique. Technology training: May times the students do get good skill sets, but these skills are there with many people in market, the freshers need to have the exposure to tools like SAP, Oracle, Advance excel, Github, other MOOCs etc which improve the efficiency manifold. Industry interface: To have more and more interactions with industry experts, learning the things hands on and networking! Professional enhancement: Students come from various backgrounds and culture, they may be very good in inculcating the technical skills, but they also need to clear the interviews also for taking the jobs. The soft skills, communication, interpersonal and networking skills need to be inculcated in them not only for interviews but for whole of their careers. Faculty, the faculty which develops the curriculum and delivers the program with right teaching pedagogy must be top notch. Internships, entrepreneurship, community development projects etc: They need to be integral part of curriculum so that students get hands on knowledge about real time situations in various aspects of life and business. All these contribute a phenomenal value towards placements.

ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated it as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. LPU has been awarded National Employ- ability 2020 for the Best Placements. MNCs recruit its students for the top notch positions which are the envy of many. Hello! After obtaining a degree in CSE, you can expect handsome salary packages in government as well as private sector. IT sector is the higher salary provider sector. A fresher can get the initial package of 2 lakh per annum to 3 lakh per annum in India. Placements depends on student and also equally on University or College. LPU has become the landing place of many leading industries for recruitment. It has many top rankings in placements. LPU is good college for Engineering in term of placement, faculty & study Environment. Top nationals and multinationals companies like Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, iGate, ITC Infotech, Amdocs, Atos, Mphasis, Unisys, AON Hewitt, MAQ, CSS Corp, HC, Practo etc. visit to the Campus. The package depends on the organization for Example Practo offered the package for CSE Graduate 6.5 Lakh per annum. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The Highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student Ms. Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft.
