A mean of 34 LPA in CSE indicates an outstanding placement record, which justifies the good industry connection and academic performance at Roorkee. Such a high median shows that it is not just a few outliers that have such packages, but it is typical of the whole cohort.

The average package received during IIT Roorkee CSE placements 2025 stood at INR 34.05 LPA. For other top branch such as ECE and EE, the average package received in 2025 was INR 30.81 LPA and INR 28.36 LPA.
