Packages offered at different NIT's vary widely depending on branch, place, etc. It also varies depending on the economy of the country.
If you are about to join, just don't worry. What happens after four years nobody can predict.
Average package offered in NIT'S was about 5-8 Lacs. -
Average salary is about 6-10 lacs of core branches in NITs.
