    For IIM A/IIM B, average salary is more than 16 lakhs per year.

    The type of job you get depends on your two years you spent at IIM, your grades, your extracurricular and internship. Your final placement salary may range from 1 crore to 50,000 or so per month and it depends on the IIM you study in. Here are the median and the highest salaries offered to students by companies last year (2015) at IIM-B, IIM-C and IIM-A:
    the highest salary:1.38 crore and 70 lakhs as the highest international salary.
    median salary:average domestic salary would be about 18 lakhs.
    IIM-B: the highest salary: the highest domestic salary was 53 lakhs whereas, the highest international salary was 73.38 lakhs.

    IIIM-A:
    The highest salary: 1.38 crore as the highest international salary.
    Median Salary: The average domestic salary would be about 18 LPA.
    IIM-B:
    The highest domestic salary was 53 LPA, whereas, the highest international salary was 73.38 LPA. Median Salary: average domestic salary would be about 18-20 LPA.
    IIM-C:
    The highest salary: 33.7 LPA was the highest salary in 2015. Median Salary: 17-18 LPA was the median salary last year.

    Average Salary that one can expect would be around 18-22 Lacs PA (Varies slightly year-to-year).

    Hi there,
    There is no average salary package as such as not every student gets placed and also the offers given are different to every student by different companies. However, the salary package can be as high as 25 LPA or as low as 12 LPA. The salary packages differ from company to company.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) at IIM Ahmedabad, the CAT test is usually conducted in November. Aspirants of IIM Ahmedabad are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:

  • Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
  • Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
  • Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
