Well, if you've heard for reliable sources like The Hindu or the Economic Times it is true. The salary at the top 3 IIMs are very high. Before I mention the salaries, let me start by saying that there are two types of placements :
The Summer Placements: These are internships and salary may range from a few Lacs to even 10,000 per month and is for a period of two to three months. This internship may turn into a full time job based on your performance. The minimum salary package after completing MBA from IIM is 10 lakhs. It depends on the experience and knowledge also. The experience and knowledge can provide more package also.
