Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS) is a reputed institute located in Bangalore. The placement cell of the college is very good . More job opportunities come for marketing and HR. The placement scene is good here because the college has the advantage of being close to Bangalore. The placement cell trains students properly to handle the interviews. Good brands like Amazon, IBM, Infosys, Just Dial, Coca Cola, Berger paints, etc have come to recruit PGDM Grads offering an average package of around 4-5 lpa. Till now, highest package is 11.3 lpa.

At GIBS Bangalore, the average salary package for PGDM students is around 7.4 LPA, and many students also get higher depending on their skills. Big companies like KPMG, Deloitte, ITC, Wipro, EY, and HDFC Bank visit for placements. Personally, I got placed at KPMG in the finance role with an 8 LPA package, which shows the good opportunities GIBS provides.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines, in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, allow students to pursue two academic programs simultaneously. The crucial condition is that the class timings for the two programs do not overlap, which may be possible if one is in a regular physical mode and the other is an online or distance learning program.
However, the BBA is an undergraduate program, and the PGDM is a postgraduate program. They are designed as sequential steps in business education: candidates typically complete their BBA (or another bachelor's degree) before pursuing a PGDM.
