What is the basic difference between an Regular MBA program and an Executive MBA? Which among the two promises a brighter career?

They promise career advantages such as higher salary or promotion, new career . or success rates, key distinction factors among MBA programs are program . between programs that can NOT be studied besides the job and programs that can be put in the nutshell!

Hi Arun, EMBA from leading b-school will definitely help you but pursuing it from any b-schools will not help. I Would suggest you to go with regular MBA from a good b-school who can add a feather to your cap While in Executive MBA your class mates comprise of experienced professionals, just like you, there is much to learn from them, they've a wealth of knowledge in their industry, and they present valuable networking opportunities. Full-time MBA is the most thorough and complete of all the management courses. In regular MBA there are more career opportunities rather than executive MBA. Executive MBA is comparatively less eventful. MBA & EMBA both are two different things. There are many differences like EMBA is totally designed for working professional and those who have at-least 3 years of work experience. The course curriculum and timing are different compare to regular MBA Classes of EMBA are mostly conducted on week ends Very few institutes are offering full time EMBA EMBA program are basically designed to meet the needs of upper level managers. MBA: Any graduate who are interested into managerial qualification can go for MBA study. The applicant can go for it by clear CAT/MAT/XAT or any other equivalent test. The Regular MBA is the one which has the total exposure of all the topics, where as executive MBA only gives you a degree and you need to get a practical exposure from the company. To be practical only a working profession people take up Executive MBA, where they directly specify particular topics which you select. In regular MBA the teach from the basics of MBA. So, if you are a fresher, its better to opt for regular MBA. else the executive one is good if you are already working in some company.
