for upsc exams you should be graduate and should be 21 -30 in age the mailk thing which is required in it is hard work only there are three sections in exams pre mains and interview for that you will have to prepare for two subjects as the main subjects in pre there is one optional subject and in ma

the minimum qualification required for IPS exam which is conducted by UPSC is
pass in graduation with any discipline .
age should be between 21 - 30 for general category students.
age should be between 21 - 33 for obc category students.
there is age relaxation for sc and st category students.

firstly you have to take graduate degree in any disciplane than you would be able to appear in the examination
Final year students shall be able to appear in the examination but the have to produce a certificate from the head of the institution
