What is the basic eligibility to avail of a scholarship for a student looking at doing his B.Tech

sir, i have just completed my 12th stanard.i live in vijayawada(ANDHRA PRADESH). i got 477 rank in EAMCET 2010.I want to study B.Tech with scholarship.Could u please let me know the details of this scholarship.does this sholarship eligible only for economically back ward sections? pls reply soon.

Dear Sai, If you are worried about your economic condition then you can appear for KVPY exam conducted by IISC. If you clear the exam you will get per month 5000 to 7000 till you finish your study You can find more details from http://www.iisc.ernet.in/kvpy/
