Event Management degree does not demand any previous specialised knowledge but one must have the acumen and experience into planning events. However, this does not mean that you can not do well in studies doing event Management.

No. I don't think so. A certificate of experience will not be required but in admission interviews (If that happen) some exposure will do good. Remember, you must be aware what jobs are offered to an event management degree holder. Do that research.
