    The Common Merit Rank (CMR) that applicants receive on the entrance tests will be the primary determinant of seat distribution at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in 2025. Depending on the program, candidates who pass the General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT) can advance to a Situation Test or Personal Interview for additional assessment. The ranks obtained in these tests, as well as the decisions candidates make during the counselling process about their desired courses and campuses, will be considered in the final seat distribution.   • The allotment of seats will be based on: Choice opted at the time of counseling registration (academic programs + campuses) The category of the candidate Seat intake in the college opted for admission NIFT 2024 merit rank of the candidate. NIFT 2024 seat allotment process will be conducted in May 2024.

    The National Institute of Fashion Technology will conduct counseling registration for NIFT 2024 once results are declared.

    Candidates who have qualified in NIFT 2024 are eligible to participate in the counseling process.
