The benefit of the NIELIT exam: Recognition: Recognition has been given by the Government of India to the Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Classes DOEACC O Level examination conducted by the DOEACC Society as equivalent to the Foundation Course in Information Technology for the purpose of employment in the posts and services under the Central Government. Scholarship: The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology has introduced a scholarship programme for female, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and physically handicapped students who are pursuing NIELIT's O-Level courses as full-time students. The scholarship is worth INR 12,000 and is distributed in two installments if candidates clear all papers in single attempts within the next two consecutive examinations after registration and their annual family income from all sources does not exceed INR 2,50,000.
