What is the benefit of pursuing Masters in finance as compared to MBA finance?

The basic difference between both the PG courses is that in MFM, you get to study more specifically about finance only, whereas, in general MBA, you get to study general management in the first year and then you go for specialization in the 2nd year of the course where you can opt for

If you are sure that you want to make your career in finance field then M.Finance makes more sense.
MBA is a broader course after which you can opt for operations, risk profiles, finance or marketing.
So, all in all, if you are not sure about the next step, MBA will be a safer option.
