What is the benefit of pursuing MBA after completion of B.Com?

<p>Hi I am pursuing MBA after completing B.Com in my under graduation and 2-years of experience in a well-known audit company. As soon as I started working, it was clear that a post-graduation would give a much-required boost to my career growth. Hence I decided to take up MBA after 2-years of experience.</p><p>The reason I chose MBA is that I had an interest towards management and leadership. And I liked to get the whole picture of the work I am doing rather than just doing a piece of task allocated to me. I would suggest you to understand your interest, strength, and weakness before choosing the course you would like to pursue.</p><p>You have many choices after B.Com including M.Com and many professional courses such CA, CMA, CS, etc. But choosing MBA will give you a wider scope in the management level. Evaluate yourself and choose your PG accordingly.</p>

Well, after B.Com, you can pursue MBA in any Stream but if you would go for Banking and Finance or financial market practice then you will be more helpful with your graduation level you will be able to gain more insight into the subject as you have already gone through the base of Commerce in Graduation. So, if you go for MBA after b.com their nothing difficult for you. B.Com graduate will get to learn in depth about: Accounting Financial Management Asset Management Portfolio Management Technical analysis Fundamental analysis Wealth management Investment banking Marketing of Finance service So, if you are having the base as account graduate you will have edge over the other. The following are the career options available for the MBA in banking -Banks, NBFC, Insurance, Govt institute.
