MBA will get you a job only in management. MCA will get you a job in the field of IT Development. Both have equal scope in a company. I would suggest taking MCA lateral entry or 2 year MCA programme and doing a job. After that puruse PGDM if you want.

This would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in Technical / research / academics area then MCA/ M.Sc. ( IT) is better, However, if you want to move into general management the MBA is better.

If you wish to work as an IT employee, you could go for MCA and if you wish to go towards management side (I. e, HR manager, marketing manager, etc.) you could go for MBA.
