What is the best course for me? What should I choose M.Sc or MBA in pharma-biotechnology or MBA in other fields?
I am in 3rd year of B.Sc biotechnology. I have scored 84% in 10th and 73% in 12th.

It is purely based on your area of interest. If you want to continue and enhance your technical skills and knowledge, then M.Sc. Is a good option. If you are inclined to learn the management, then MBA is best suited for you. MBA in biotechnology fields also have a very bright scope, like in pharmaceutical, agriculture, horticulture and many more.

Hello,
This totally depends on the intensity of your interest shifted towards either research field or business domain during your graduation in biotechnology. Yes, Pharma biotechnology is the emerging field. No doubt, if you want to mingle both your business and biology bent of mind, then this will prove beneficial for you. Otherwise, if want to explore MBA other than biotechnology than still many fascinating paths are present.
All the best. -
Hi,
If you are doing well in biotechnology then you must go for M.Sc else MBA would be a good option. After B.Sc you can go for M.Sc or other courses and then PhD if you want to be a hardcore researcher. For which you have to start preparing for NET/SET (SLET) competitive exams as CSIR conducts this NET twice in a year. Just remember that this is the toughest and tricky kind of exam. But once qualified, life will be easy and smooth, as you will be getting fellowship worth 25,000 Rs. Per month. Most popular colleges for doing M.Sc are:
University of Hyderabad-School of Life Sciences,
University of Mumbai-Institute of Chemical Technology,...more -
