What is the best date to take the SAT?

The best date to take SAT is either in junior year or somewhere around spring intake. Planning exam around these dates in March, May and June has many benefits. If you don't score as per your requirement you can re-appear whenever you like.

Why these are ideal:

Plenty of time for retakes

Scores are ready well before early, regular, and spring deadlines

Less stress if something goes wrong (illness, bad test day)
