What is the best time to prepare for UPSC ?
My goal is Civil services.Some of them say 1st do ur PG & then go for it but others say start preparing immediate after UG.which is better?

Hi,
Preparing for IAS requires combination of smartness and hard work. Do the right things to gain an edge over your competition:
*Get the right books for Prelims
*Start preparing at least 10 months before
*Solve past year questions to test yourself on regular basis
*Cover the scoring sections ear

Yes giving civil services exam after PG is better because first of all it provides you more knowledge to deal within your job if selected, and secondly it helps in promotions later & provides you an opportunity to get a wider department to handle in your job as an administrator..

Start immediately. Civil services preparation is not a definite time period preparation. Early the better.

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.

It totally depends upon you... But i personally prefer giving civil service exam after PG
