Heightened public awareness coupled with scientific advances. Currently, there are very few formal Genetic Counselling Training programmes in India. The scenario that genetic counselors are increasingly & becoming a valuable part of our healthcare services. One may even help conduct research related to genetic conditions or genetic counselling. The genetic counselors are uniquely positioned with wide scope in health sector in India as well as abroad.
