Dear Vinay, Greetings ! Firstly , go for a course which is mix of: A. Web Design +Web Dev Tools like: Scripting, Joomla, Drupal, Adobe Flex, Cold Fusion etc should be part of the syllabus including HTML, CSS etc or B. Web Design + VFX Tools like Mocha, Smoke, After Effetcs with FCP will be a great choice. If you are +2 pass then Bsc or Msc in Animation is a sought after degree and masters degree for people wanting to take a break in this industry. No doubt that animation industry is currently booming. Just look at the number of movies getting released .Animation movies are coming in Hindi and regional languages as well. Based on recent surveys by govt bodies and NASSCOM the Indian Animation industry is already an 80 billion USD industry. Creating Animation includes, Film Making, Cartoon Serials, ADs, Web-Site Design & Dev ,2D & 3D Gaming, Virtual reality, Simulation and many more. So for a career that is highly technology oriented, BSc or MSc in Animation is an apt move in today's scenario.
