    Hello Sohail,
    There are two CET exam, which you have to appear. One is by Karnataka Government and COMEDK. You can get admission through either of these exams.

Both colleges offer several specialisations in BE/ BTech courses. Moreover, the total number of seats offered in the BTech course at R.V. College of Engineering is around 1,555. Moreover, the number of seats offered in BTech at Ramaiah Institute of Technology is around 1,401. Therefore, RVCE offers a larger number of seats in undergraduate engineering courses compared to Ramaiah Institute of Technology. Moreover, the admission process for BE/ BTech courses is almost similar at both institutes.

Yes, you can get direct admission to Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT) through the management quota. 

  • Students seeking direct admission must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the institute,  must have passed class 12th with overall 45% marks with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry/biology/computer science/electronics in the qualifying examination.
  • Must have written COMEDK or KEA entrance exams.
  • The cost of management quota seats may be higher compared to merit seats, as students are required to pay annual tuition fees along with a one-time development fee.
