Germany is generally cheaper than Canada. You will pay less for rent, groceries, and transport in Germany. Especially public university fee in Germany is zero. Canada has higher daily expenses, particularly for housing, internet, and mobile plans.

If we compare the cost of living in Canada and the cost of living in Germany, we find that both countries are more or less similar.
