    The Department of Students Welfare (DSW) and Central University of Kashmir (CUK) conducts an examination for coaching of civil services exams. Four Deputy DSWs are employed by the department, and they represent the university four campuses. They are Drs. Asif Khan, Ishrat Bashir, Faizan Ashraf Mir, and Mohammad Lateef Khaliq. These deputy DSWs manage the planning of different DSW initiatives. The University different sports activities are overseen by the Dean of Students Welfare, and Dr. Mohammad Muzamil Shah, the Sports Coordinator, works under his direction to promote sports at the University.
