What is the core branch in engineering?

Core branches of Engineering are Electrical , Mechanical, Civil and Chemical. All other branches of engineering are specialisation of core branches. For example Electronics, Telecommunication, ECE, EEE, Computer Engineering etc are sub specialisations of electrical engineering.
