In order to be eligible for a student visa, the applicant must be accepted in a school that is approved by the United States. The application for a student visa is submitted to the embassy of the country where you are applying from. The United States of America offers three types of visas to students; F-1, J-1 and M-1. So, the cost of a student visa will depend on the type of visa you are applying for. The US visa cost for an F-1 student visa is USD 185.
