What is the cost to become a Pilot?

First you have to be a science stream 12th passed out(PCM) with good score in Physics and Maths, then you can go for aeronautical Institutes in your state. but from my point of view, becoming a pilot is not a good option here in India and you wont be getting any job after completing you course. so that i'll prefer you to look for other cheap countries like: Singapore, China, Germany, Norway, Finland for you Pilot course and after completion of your course work there for couple of years and then apply for Indian Airlines. This is the most secure and safe way to become a pilot. -
Niharika if you want to make your career as a pilot in affordable fee than join Indian Air force.
