Step 2 Choice Filling After logging into their accounts, the candidates will have to select their preferred colleges and courses from the list which will be available as per their merit. Step 3 Seat Allotment and Announcement of Rank List JoSAA Seat Allotment 2017 will be held in online mode. The candidates will be allotted seats as per the merit and selection of college and course. The authorities of JoSAA 2017 will release the rank list category wise. Step 4 Allotment Letter and Seat Acceptance Fee All of the candidates who are successfully allotted through JoSAA Counselling 2017 will have to download their Provisional Seat Allotment Letter and e-challan for remittance of seat acceptance fee. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ GEN-PwD/ OBC-NCL-PwD/ SC-PwD or ST-PwD will have to pay Rs. 20,000 as seat acceptance fee. Other candidates will have to pay Rs. 45,000. The payment has to be done using the e-Challan or SBI Net Banking. Step 5 Reporting Centres The allotted candidates will have to report at the designated centres for document verification. It is essential that all candidates qualify the verification process.
