What is the counselling procedure for taking admission in NITs?

Can I get complete information about filling choices, locking a stream and how to withraw a locked seat? When should I pay seat acceptance fee, how to get refund, etc.

    The counselling session of JoSAA 2017 will start on June 15, 2017. It is to be noted that all of the candidates will have to meet the required eligibility criteria. If the candidate does not satisfy the JoSAA Eligibility Criteria 2017, then he/she will not be allowed to participate in the admission process. The steps of JoSAA Counselling 2017 are given below:
    Step 1: Registration and Choice Filling
