IES exam comprises of Compulsory subject of General English / General Studies and optional subjects branch wise. For ECE candidates subjects are:-
1. Paper I
1. MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS
2. PHYSICAL ELECTRONICS, ELECTRON DEVICES AND ICs
3. SIGNALS AND SYSTEMS
4. NETWORK THEORY
5. ELECTROMAGNETIC THE

Eligibility Criteria for IES :
A) NATIONALITY:-
- The candidates applying for IES 2014 must either be an Indian Citizen or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
- A Tibetan refugee who made India is his/her permanent base before January 1st, 1962.
- A person or candidate of Indian origin migrated
