What is the criteria for lateral entry in civil engineering? I have got 85.43% in Diploma from Aligarh Muslim University.

Dear Prakhar, there is no criteria you should pass Diploma engineering with minimum 45%. To get admission in B.Tech on basis of Diploma engineering you will have to appear in LEET entrance exam conducted by each state university & some deemed university. On that basis, you can get good college. Some colleges also provide direct admission in management seats.
