    The National Exit Test (NExT) is anticipated to be implemented in August 2025, replacing the final MBBS exams, NEET PG, and FMGE. According to the NExT (National Exit Test) Regulations 2023, the exam will be conducted in two phases and held twice a year. The first phase will be a theory exam covering six subjects, while the second phase will be used to prepare a merit list for broad specialities.

    Applicants must be pursuing MBBS in NMC-approved medical colleges. 

    NMC-approved Foreign Medical Graduates, who want a license to pursue medicine in India. 

    Syllabus

    • Medicine and its allied subjects

    • Surgery & allied subjects

    • Paediatrics

    • Obstetrics & Gynaecology

    • Otorhinolaryngology

    • Ophthalmology

    Exam Pattern 

    Step 1 - 

    • 540 MCQ questions

    • Theory-based

    • 6 papers and the syllabus will be MBBS 3rd year and 4th year. 

    Step 2 -

    • 1-year mandatory internship

    • Practical knowledge
